男 ，汉族 ，1927年生 ，2009年去世 ，河北曲阳人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目曲阳石 雕代表性传承人 ，中国工艺美术大师。 幼承家学 ，舅父为著名石雕艺人刘东元。 经过半个多 世纪的实践和探索 ，卢进桥已经形成了自己独特的艺术和创作风格。他既不绘图 ，也不塑模 型 ，就凭着自己广博的艺术修养和经验阅历 ，根据不同形状的材料进行艺术构思。他可以从 任何一个部位直接雕刻出形象生动、形神兼备的艺术作品 ，行话称 “肚里有活”。他还改变 了传统石雕衣饰、飘带、 头发、 鬃毛呆板僵硬的毛病 ，增强了作品的生命力。他的作品表现 手法灵活细腻、神形并茂、古朴典雅 ， “卢进桥石雕” 已成为一个品牌 ，《卧兽观音》《三 大仕》《普贤坐白象》均为国宝级艺术珍品。他培养的徒弟众多 ，分布在全国各地。
