男 ，汉族 ，1945年生 ，陕西榆林人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目榆林小曲代表性传承 人。 自幼师承其父著名榆林小曲演唱家林茂森 ，兼学习榆林小曲的伴奏。 1961年 ，先后师从 叶子峰、林玉书、 张建汉学习扬琴、 京胡和三弦。从艺五十余年来 ，掌握了在榆林地区流传 下来的大部分榆林小曲曲调。
