女 ，回族 ，1947年生 ，山东济南人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目山东大鼓代表性传承 人。 1959年进入山东省曲艺团 ，师从著名山东大鼓艺人谢大玉 ，主工梨花大鼓 ，1978年调入 山东省戏曲学校曲艺科任教 ，1981年调入山东省艺术馆曲艺科从事曲艺辅导和创作 ，期间为 振兴梨花大鼓四方呼吁 ，相继发表了《梨花风骨》《愿祈梨花再度开》《山东大鼓兴衰评述 》等文章 ，现为山东省艺术馆副研究馆员。左玉华继承了谢大玉激扬奔放的演唱特点 ，其行 腔委婉 ，口齿伶俐 ，表演刚柔并济、雍容大方。代表作品有：《草船借箭》《鸿雁捎书》等 。
