男 ，汉族 ，1931年生 ，福建福州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目福州评话代表性传承 人 ，国家二级演员。 16岁师从著名评话艺术家苏宝福 ，3年后登台 ，从事评话表演四十余年。 他在练台过程中不断加强自身文化修养 ，并在说表中自如应用成语、谚语和歇后语 ，增强了 评话的可听性。他经常观摩不同流派评话的演出 ，善于借鉴各家之长。 为了更好地传承艺 术 ，培养新人 ，毛钦铭坚持每周为青年演员辅导 ，倾囊传授。代表作品有：《千金买骨》《 桐油煮粉干》《呼家将》《五代史》等。 1987年 ，中国曲艺出版社出版毛钦铭与陈竹曦整理 的《福州评话选》。
