男 ，汉族 ，1936年生 ，四川仪陇人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目木偶戏（川北大木偶 戏）代表性传承人 ，国家二级演员。李泗元8岁随父亲学艺 ，1950年至2003年参加仪陇县木 偶宣传组（现改名为四川省大木偶剧院） ，1956年起先后任副团长、 团长、 艺委会主任 ，现 为四川省大木偶剧院顾问。他的表演通工全部行当 ，尤精生、 丑 ，在神话传统剧目的表演中 更有独到之处。他曾多次晋京表演 ，并广泛参与中外文化交流 ，代表作品有《幽王回宫》《 跪门吃草》《斩经堂》《斗牛宫》等 ，现已培养了三四十名传承人员。
