Inheritor Introduction：
男 ，汉族 ，1942年生 ，台湾台南人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目木偶戏（漳州布袋木 偶戏）代表性传承人。 陈锦堂1959年至1960年任职于漳州市木偶剧团 ，后赴福建省戏曲研究 所进修编导专业 ，回团后从事导演和演员工作。 曾多次参加全国巡回演出 ，并出国访问演出 。他认真继承父辈的表演技艺 ，在木偶 “三节棍”和 “脱手回套”等绝技表演上有所发展， 对布袋戏的表演有全方面的了解和掌握。他导演了多部木偶戏 ，积极投身木偶造型的创新， 使木偶人更加形象生动 ，创造发明了 “指通与关节通”（木偶的左右关节臂） ，并将技艺传 授给儿子 ，曾多次为业余木偶爱好者传授技艺。代表作品有：《画皮》《水仙花》等。
