男 ，汉族 ，1944年生 ，福建南靖人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目木偶戏（漳州布袋木 偶戏）代表性传承人 ，一级演员 ，中国木偶皮影艺术协会名誉会长 ，享受国务院政府特殊津 贴。庄陈华1958年至1960年在漳州艺术学校学习布袋木偶表演 ，师从木偶表演大师杨胜； 1960年至今 ，在漳州木偶剧团任专业演员。 1979年获福建省青年演员优秀奖 ，1992年获文 化部优秀表演奖 ，1994年荣获 “全国木偶艺术精英”荣誉称号。他曾主演木偶传统剧《大名 府》获捷克国际木偶表演奖 ，在经典传统剧目《卖马闹府》《八仙过海》《三打白骨精》《 钟馗元帅》《狗腿子的故事》等一系列剧目中担纲主演 ，并成为被拍布袋戏的精品 ，同时在 多部电影、 电视中担任主演 ，木偶剧《狗腿子的传说》获文化部授予的全国优秀演员奖。
