男 ，汉族 ，1953年生 ，湖北潜江人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目皮影戏（江汉平原皮 影戏）代表性传承人。汤先成自幼酷爱雕刻艺术 ，六七岁时就能雕刻简单的影头和影身 ，在 伯祖父和父亲的细心指导下 ，二十余岁即获得汤格皮影雕刻工艺真传。 1977年至1985年 ，他 与父亲为各地皮影戏班制作皮影十六堂 ，计一千二百多件 ，影头四千余个 ，帽子两千多顶， 并培养出汤格皮影的下一代传人。他雕刻的汤格皮影 ，影身高大 ，线条流畅 ，图案栩栩如 生 ，操作灵便耐用 ，2006年完成《汤格皮影》一书的撰写 ，为皮影雕刻技术的整理和保存做 出了贡献。
