男 ，汉族 ，1963年生 ，湖南溆浦人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目目连戏（辰河目连 戏）代表性传承人。周建斌1976年考入溆浦县文艺学习班（戏曲科班） ，师从著名辰河戏小 生演员杨宗道 ，继承了其丰富细腻、生动灵活的表演做功和粗犷与婉转并重的音乐唱腔。他 演出的《凤仪亭》《幽会放裴》《百花赠剑》《蜜蜂头》《目连戏》等传统武戏和文戏 ，都 得到了前辈艺人的亲授。
