男 ，藏族 ，1941年生 ，西藏人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目藏族唐卡（勉唐画派）代 表性传承人 ，西藏大学艺术系教授、硕士研究生导师。丹巴绕旦生于唐卡绘画世家 ，9岁起在 私塾学习文化课的同时随父亲洛桑诺布学习藏族传统绘画 ，掌握了藏族传统绘画中的所有技 法和配色技术。 为了了解佛学知识 ，他15岁进入色拉大乘学院 ，系统地学习了因明学、佛学 理论及绘画理论。 20世纪80年代调入西藏师范学院格萨尔研究室工作 ，绘制了大量具有浓郁 藏画特色的《格萨尔王传》彩色插图。他绘制的唐卡法度精严 ，用色细腻 ，富丽堂皇 ，尤其 石青石绿突出。 主要代表作品有：《大威德金刚》《地球》《布袋和尚》《吉祥天母》等。
