男 ，侗族 ，1948年生 ，贵州黎平人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目侗戏代表性传承人， 侗戏师。 吴胜章10岁起跟吴照全戏师学唱侗戏 ，1969年在地扪村成立侗戏班 ，从事侗戏创作 、编导及传播工作。他编写和演唱的侗戏 ，优美动听 ，自然流畅 ，具有较浓的乡土气息 ，到 他门上拜师学艺的有近千人之多。他编导和出演的侗戏有一百多部 ，主要代表作品有《梅良 玉》《李旦凤皎》《祝英台》《珠郎娘美》等。
