男 ，汉族 ，1950年生 ，重庆梁平人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目灯戏（梁山灯戏）代 表性传承人 ，国家三级演员。 阙太纯1957年开始随父亲阙德芳学习梁山灯戏表演 ，1964年被 梁平剧团招为学员并逐渐登台演出 ，先后学习文、 武生 ，文、 武丑和花脸的表演 ，成为了能 够胜任各种角色的演员 ，1990年起担任文化馆戏剧辅导干部 ，并从事梁山灯戏的实验演出和 研究工作 ，退休后又积极参与梁山灯戏的创作、演出、研究活动。他表演技艺精湛 ，掌握变 脸、灯影木偶身法等很多独特的民间绝技。代表作品有：《卖驴》《抢公公》等。
