男 ，汉族 ，1972年生 ，广东海丰人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目白字戏代表性传承 人 ，国家二级演员。 吴佩锦从小师从当地著名拳师彭新会、 黄坤城学习武术 ，并参加村里的 舞狮队演出 ，1988年被录取为海丰县白字戏剧团训练班正式学员 ，师从广东省汉剧院刘志群 学习基本功 ，又得到了白字戏著名小生何循禧、唐大聪和声乐老师陈海鸣的指点。 毕业后随 团演出 ，先后担任武生行、 丑行演员。其较全面地继承了白字戏的丑行、 武生传统艺术 ，并 在此基础上取得了一些创新和突破。代表作品有：《方世玉打擂》《燕青打擂》等。
