男 ，汉族 ，1920年生 ，四川绵竹人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目绵竹木版年画代表性 传承人。 1933年拜大伯陈世金为师 ，坚持制作年画至今。几十年来 ，他翻刻了许多传统样式 的作品 ，与旧样几近相同 ，保持了绵竹年画的纯粹性。绵竹木版年画的特点是 ，以线版为轮 廓而并非套版 ，彩绘是在轮廓内依个人风格进行描绘。 陈兴才的雕刻技法熟练 ，谙熟传统造 型的方法程式。 陈兴才也能彩绘年画 ，但多为小幅作品。 1994年 ，他被绵竹县人民政府授予 “绵竹年画艺术大师”称号。近年 ，作品《双扬鞭》入选 “ 中国民间艺术一绝大展” ；2006 年获四川巴蜀文艺奖。他将刻版和彩绘年画技法传给孙子 ，现孙辈均已能独立操作。
