男 ，汉族 ，1936年生 ，广东佛山人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目佛山木版年画代表性 传承人。 冯炳棠是家传佛山木版年画制作的第三代传人 ，1949年开始随父亲学艺 ，学习了木 版年画的开纸、套印技艺。后来苦于没有同行的配合 ，他便开始自己摸索和钻研年画制作的 其他工序 ，如今他已经能够独立将木版年画的整套制作工艺完成 ，是广东全面掌握传统佛山 木版年画工艺的代表性传人。他制作的年画产品十分丰富 ，有简单的木版单色画、色彩鲜艳 的木版套印画以及大型繁复的木版印线手绘神像画 ，富有岭南民间文化特色。他曾多次参加 国际国内的展演和交流活动。 主要代表作品有：《梅花童子》《填丹门神》《和合二仙》等 。
