男 ，汉族 ，1948年生 ，福建厦门人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目歌仔戏代表性传承 人 ，国家一级导演。 吴兹明1959年入漳州艺术学校学习 ，受教于邵江海、宋尖尾、 陈月明等 芗剧名师 ，1964年进入漳州市青年实验芗剧团 ，1969年至1975年在龙溪地区京剧团工作， 1975年至1981年任漳州艺校教师。他掌握了芗剧艺术表演体系及各行当的表演程式 ，并能胜 任芗剧传统戏、历史剧与现代戏的导演工作。代表作品有：《戏魂》《西施与伍员》等。
