男 ，汉族 ，1963年生 ，湖北黄梅人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目黄梅戏代表性传承 人 ，黄梅县黄梅戏剧院副院长 ，一级演员。周洪年1978年进入安庆黄梅戏艺术学校学习 ，师 承陈中元 ，1980年入湖北省黄梅县黄梅戏剧院工作 ，师承易春华。他先后在四十多部传统剧 目和现代戏中扮演不同的角色 ，其唱腔上具有独到韵味 ，吐字清晰、流畅 ，声音洪亮、清 脆 ，具有较强的穿透力和吸引力。代表作品有：《刑绣娘》《秦香莲》等。
