男 ，汉族 ，1922年生 ，湖北武汉人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目楚剧代表性传承人， 一级演员。 熊剑啸历任问艺楚剧抗敌宣传队二队演员 ，武汉市楚剧一团、 武汉市楚剧团、湖 北省楚剧团副团长等职。 1931年师从名丑胡玉山 ，工丑行。其表演含蓄细腻 ，咬字准确 ， “ 人话”与 “韵白”巧妙结合 ，融为一体 ，自然流畅 ，别具风格。所演角色生活气息浓厚而不 流于自然主义。代表作品有：《葛麻》《杨绊讨亲》《九相公闹馆》等。
