女 ，汉族 ，1940年生 ，江苏扬州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目扬剧代表性传承人， 一级演员。汪琴1956年考入扬州市人民扬剧团学艺 ，1960年调入扬州专区扬剧团（现为扬州 市扬剧团）工作至退休。 师从华素琴 ，功底深厚 ，戏路宽广 ，善于塑造各种不同类型人物， 个性鲜明。代表作品有：《审土地》《血冤》《皮九辣子》《玉蜻蜓》《瞎子算命》《杜鹃 山》《恩仇记》《王宝钏》等。
