女 ，汉族 ，1921年生 ，上海人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目苏剧代表性传承人。 尹斯 明出身于 “苏滩”世家 ，自幼随父尹仲秋学艺 ，年轻时在上海演唱 “苏滩”颇有影响。 1951 年参加上海市民锋苏剧团（省苏昆剧团前身） ，是苏剧建团的创始人之一 ，并一直担任主要 演员 ，为苏剧第一代传人。 20世纪50年代随剧团落户苏州。初工旦行 ，后改小生 ，1956年又 改老生 ，新创很多苏剧女老生唱腔 ，解决了苏剧老生曲调较弱的问题 ，并为多部苏剧作曲、 谱唱腔。代表作品有：《汉宫秋月》《珍珠塔》《白兔记》《五姑娘》等。
