男 ，汉族 ，1928年生 ，2009年去世 ，湖南隆回人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目滩头木 版年画代表性传承人。 1934年至1943年在滩头随父亲学徒； 出师后与父亲共同经营 “成人发 ”年画作坊； 1954年与妻子高腊梅独立经营 “高腊梅”年画作坊。 1955年公私合营 ，钟海仙 因有一技之长而进入滩头镇染纸社当工人； “文革”时期 ，钟海仙被迫停止了年画制作 ，他 从 “成人发”年画作坊继承的八十多块画版 ，也大都被付之一炬。 1988年退休后 ，他又重拾 老手艺。他精通木版年画制作技法 ，雕刻线条细而坚挺、流畅圆润 ，且不易磨损 ，极富表现 力；独一无二的 “蒸纸” “托胶” “刷粉”等特殊工艺使滩头木版年画不仅色彩艳丽 ，而且 具有浮雕般的艺术效果。 主要代表作品有：《老鼠娶亲》《苗族英雄像》《秦叔宝·尉迟恭》 等。
