女 ，汉族 ，1922年生 ，浙江萧山人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目越剧代表性传承人， 一级演员。 张桂凤是越剧 “张派”创始人 ，1936年入招龙桥科班学戏 ，师承邢胜奎 ，1945年 在上海加入袁雪芬、 范瑞娟领衔的雪声剧团 ，1947年加盟范瑞娟、傅全香领衔的 “东山越艺 社”。新中国成立后 ，历任华东戏曲研究院实验越剧团、 上海越剧院演员。 张桂凤的表演刚 劲质朴 ，在表演上坚持现实主义原则 ，善于刻画人物性格 ，代表作品有《梁山伯与祝英台》 《二堂放子》等。
