男 ，汉族 ，1966年生 ，广东汕尾人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目西秦戏代表性传承 人 ，广东省海丰县西秦戏剧团团长。 吕维平1985年入惠阳地区艺术培训团戏曲表演专业班培 训 ，1987年以后进入海丰县西秦戏剧团任演员 ，师承罗振标、唐托 ，继承 “生行”兼 “净行 ” , 后又随吕匹先生从事戏曲研究 ，并改编剧本。他的表演儒雅庄重 ，气派大方 ，善以声情 塑造人物性格。代表作品有：《刘锡训子》《斩郑恩》《薛仁贵回窑》《赵氏孤儿》等。
