男 ，汉族 ，1940年生 ，河北藁城人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目石家庄丝弦代表性传 承人 ，一级演员。边树森1956年入石家庄艺术学校丝弦训练班 ，自1959年一直在石家庄丝弦 剧团担任演员。 曾先后师从丝弦 “ 四大须生”之一的 “平山红”封广亭、 王永春等 ，横跨 “ 小生” “老生”两个行当 ，演唱刚柔相济 ，以情传声、 以情带声 ，声情并茂 ，被称为 “边派 ”。代表作品有：《李天保吊孝》《空印盒》《文王访贤》等。
