女 ，汉族 ，1927年生 ，广东开平人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目粤剧代表性传承人， 红线女艺术中心主任。 红线女1938年在澳门从艺 ，随舅母何芙莲加入剧团。从艺七十多年 来 ，她在传统的基础上 ，广泛吸取众家所长 ，同时结合自身条件 ，创造了粤剧 “红派”艺术 。她的一批代表性作品如《刁蛮公主憨驸马》《拾玉镯》《搜书院》《山乡风云》等 ，引人 入胜 ，至今盛演不衰 ，其表演雍容华贵 ，端庄大方 ，英气袭人 ，外柔内刚 ，唱腔优美动听， 撼人心魄。
