男 ，汉族 ，1944年生 ，安徽黄山人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目徽剧代表性传承人， 一级演员 ，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。 章其祥出身于梨园世家 ，其祖父、 父亲均是徽班科班 班主 ，他12岁开始跟随父亲学徽剧 ，13岁考入安徽省徽剧团 ，1959年进京演出《水淹七军》 等 ，受到一致好评 ，后得到李洪春、侯喜瑞等著名演员的指导。 章其祥的表演张弛有度 ，演 唱气势磅礴 ，共鸣音圆亮 ，低音宽厚 ，代表作品有《水淹七军》《单刀会》《龙虎斗》等。
