男 ，汉族 ，1956年生 ，浙江杭州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目京剧代表性传承人， 一级演员。 关栋天出身于梨园世家 ，自幼酷爱京剧 ，天赋极佳 ，后随父学艺 ，主工老生， 1978年考入武汉京剧院 ，1984年正式调入上海京剧院。 关栋天行腔自如飘逸、 富于韵味 ，极 富艺术感染力 ，被誉为京剧界的男高音 ，代表作品有《潘月樵传奇》《廉吏于成龙》《贞观 盛事》等。
