女 ，汉族 ，1928年生 ，河北武清人（今属天津）。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目京剧代 表性传承人 ，京剧表演艺术家。赵燕侠出身梨园世家 ，自幼在父母的督导下练功学戏 ，7岁随 父赵小楼在杭州、 上海、 武汉等地搭班演出 ，14岁到北京后师从荀慧生等学习青衣、花旦， 1947年组建燕鸣社 ，在京、津、沪等地演出 ，后长期在北京京剧院从艺。赵燕侠在继承荀派 表演风格的基础上 ，结合自身条件 ，突破传统技艺 ，唱、念、做、打别具一格 ，深为观众喜 闻乐见。其表演戏路较宽 ，文武不挡 ，唱腔悠扬婉转 ，唱念清脆甜亮 ，咬字特别清晰。代表 作品有：《红娘》《花田错》《白蛇传》等。
