女 ，汉族 ，1942年生 ，江苏无锡人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目京剧代表性传承人， 一级演员 ，首届中国戏剧梅花奖获得者。刘长瑜1951年至1959年在中国戏曲学校学习京剧旦 行表演艺术 ，曾随筱翠花、 华慧麟、 雪艳琴、赵桐珊、 于连泉等名家学艺 ，1958年得到荀慧 生亲授 ，工青衣、花旦、 刀马旦 ，尤擅长花旦 ，后又得到雪艳琴、李玉茹、 童芷苓、俞振飞 及汉剧陈伯华、 豫剧陈素贞、姚淑芳、 山西蒲州梆子王秀兰等诸多艺术家的传艺指点。刘长 瑜为中国京剧院主要演员 ，其扮相俊美 ，嗓音清脆 ，吐字明快 ，尤其善于博采众长 ，广泛吸 收 ，形成了独具特色的表演风格 ，代表作品有《红灯记》《卖水》《春草闯堂》《红楼二尤 》等。
