男 ，汉族 ，1942年生 ，河南滑县人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目大平调代表性传承 人 ，国家三级演员。魏守现自幼拜大平调名须生郝京文为师 ，相随十余年 ，掌握了许多大平 调演出技艺 ，自登台演出至今已有五十余年大平调演出经历 ，2000年退休后仍跟团演出 ，主 要辅导青年演员。其演出技艺高超 ，各行当均能表演 ，唱腔朴实无华、 字正腔圆 ，被誉为大 平调 “红脸王”。代表作品有：《海瑞搜宫》《闯幽州》等。
