男 ，汉族 ，1962年生 ，河南汝州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目豫剧代表性传承人， 河南省豫剧二团团长 ，一级演员。李树建17岁入河南省洛阳市戏曲学校表演专业习艺 ，1986 年学习豫剧老生豫西调创始人王二顺的表演艺术和剧目 ，深得 “王派”艺术之精华 ，培养了 十余名王派艺术传人。其表演具有 “麒派”艺术之风骨 ，声腔具有龙吟凤鸣、虎啸狮吼之神 韵 ，被誉为当今中国戏曲舞台上的 “第一老生”。代表作品有：《鞭打芦花》《大登殿》《 陈婴救孤》等。
