女 ，汉族 ，1941年生 ，河南开封人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目豫剧代表性传承人。 张梅贞15岁考入漯河市豫剧团后保送许昌地区戏曲学校学习 ，1984年拜阎立品为师 ，得其亲 授 ，为豫剧 “阎派”主要传人之一。其表演含蓄细腻 ，端庄朴实 ，不温不火 ，着意于抒发人 物的内在感情 ，唱腔上字正腔圆 ，高而不燥 ，低而不暗 ，声情并茂。代表作品有：《秦雪梅 》《蝴蝶杯》《跪韩铺》等。
