女 ，汉族 ，1933年生 ，河南开封人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目豫剧代表性传承人， 一级演员。 吴碧波10岁入开封和平剧院 ，师从老艺人赵青和学艺 ，1949年拜豫剧皇后陈素真 为师 ，逐步掌握了陈派 “魅、美、 甜、 真”的艺术特点 ，并编创了许多经典剧目 ，同时不断 培养出杨春花等 “陈派”艺术再传弟子 ，使 “陈派”艺术得到很好的继承。其表演细腻 ，扮 相俊美 ，唱腔质朴 ，吐字清晰 ，巧妙而有情 ，被誉为 “祥符新声”。代表作品有：《穆桂英 》《打金枝》《唐知县审诰命》等。
