女 ，回族 ，1946年生 ，河南郑州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目豫剧代表性传承人， 河南省郑州市豫剧院院长 ，一级演员。虎美玲12岁入郑州市郊区戏曲学校习艺 ，1981年正式 拜常香玉为师 ，全面继承了 “常派”艺术并有所发展 ，同时还为 “常派”培养了众多后继人 才。其表演端庄大方 ，雍容华贵 ，且戏路宽广 ，唱腔明亮圆润 ，被誉为 “当代豫剧表演领军 人物”之一。代表作品有：《花木兰》《断桥》等。
