男 ，汉族 ，1943年生 ，山西代县人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目北路梆子代表性传承 人 ，一级演员。翟效安13岁入晋北艺术学校学习 ，师承北路梆子老艺人李定关、 高玉贵等， 同时向蒲剧等剧种学习表演技艺 ，1960年入忻州市北路梆子青年团 ，其表演造型优美 ，做派 大方 ，善用特技。代表作品有：《四郎探母》《寇准背靴》等。
