女 ，汉族 ，1932年生 ，山西朔州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目蒲州梆子代表性传承 人 ，一级演员。 王秀兰8岁入西安蒲剧晋风社学艺 ，工小旦 ，拜蒲剧著名老艺人原筱亭为师， 较完整地继承了老一辈艺人的代表剧目与表演技艺 ，并在唱腔等方面有所改进和创新 ，20世 纪50年代被评选为蒲剧五大名演员之首。 自担任运城艺术学校校长后 ，培养蒲剧接班人一千 余人。代表作品有：《柜中缘》《西厢记》《窦娥冤》等。其表演真实自然 ，刻画人物细 腻 ，唱腔以 “情深、 字清、透亮、婉转”见长。
