女 ，汉族 ，1963年生,山西襄汾人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目蒲州梆子代表性传承 人 ，山西临汾蒲剧院党委书记兼院长 ，一级演员 ，中国戏剧二度梅花奖获得者。任跟心于 1974年考入临汾市文化艺术学校戏曲表演专业 ，主工旦脚 ，吸收了蒲剧已故著名旦脚演员王 存才 “王派”的表演风格与剧目 ，其表演功底深厚扎实 ，继承掌握了众多的蒲剧传统经典。 1979年 ，她进入了临汾蒲剧院实验蒲剧团工作 ，在多年的舞台实践中 ，不断地超越自己 ，将 现代审美融入角色塑造中 ，唱腔天然质朴 ，表演细腻深沉。代表作品有：《挂画》《拾玉镯 》《表花》《烤火》《打神告庙》《土炕上的女人》等。
