男 ，汉族 ，1940年生 ，山西文水人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目晋剧代表性传承人， 一级演员。 武忠1954年学艺 ，工老生 ，师从晋剧泰斗、须生大王丁果仙 ，深得 “丁派”艺术 的精髓 ，并且得到张美琴等晋剧名家以及京剧、蒲剧、 豫剧、河北梆子等兄弟剧种名家的指 点 ，逐渐熔炼出个性鲜明的表演风格。他长期在太原实验晋剧院从艺 ，其演唱高亢激昂 ，起 伏多变 ，表演细腻生动 ，尤其擅长用甩发、 髯口、 马鞭、靴子功等特技表现人物 ，帽翅功、 髯口功名震三晋。代表作品有：《卖画劈门》《徐策跑城》《华容道》等。
