女 ，汉族 ，1941年生 ，陕西城固人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目汉调桄桄代表性传承 人 ，国家二级演员。许新萍12岁考入剧团 ，师从 “红樱桃”张金凤学习桄桄戏表演 ，工小旦 、花旦、 刀马旦、 青衣、 小生。许新萍从艺五十多年来 ，先后塑造了百余个艺术角色 ，其表 演精湛细腻、 内涵丰富。代表作品有：《黑杀船》《千金买笑》等。
