男 ，汉族 ，1943年生 ，2008年去世 ，浙江新昌人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目新昌调 腔代表性传承人 ，国家三级演员。蔡德锦1957年考入新昌调腔训练班学艺 ，主工小生、正生 、 小丑、 二花 ，1987年任新昌艺术学校副校长。他一专多能、 文武兼备 ，较好地继承了调腔 的艺术传统 ，同时能够打破行当限制 ，塑造艺术个性较为鲜明的人物形象。代表作品有：《 僧尼会》《断桥》等。
