男 ，汉族 ，1934年生 ，湖南常德人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目高腔（常德高腔）代 表性传承人 ，国家二级作曲。李少先1941年随父母所在同乐班学习生活 ，并先后师从李阳生 、李春伯、 张九、 易杨等常德汉剧名家 ，学习打击乐、 唢呐、胡琴、作曲等 ，1956年入常德 市汉剧团从事汉剧音乐创作。他毕生从事常德汉剧创作 ，五十多年来致力于汉剧传统优秀剧 目的挖掘、整理 ，为常德汉剧艺术的传承和发展做出了突出的成绩。代表作品有：《巧婚记 》《思凡》等。
