女 ，汉族 ，1944年生 ，湖南常德人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目高腔（常德高腔）代 表性传承人 ，国家二级演员。 龚锦云1954年从艺 ，师从父亲学习常德高腔 ，1959年进入常德 市汉剧团工作。在半个世纪的演艺生涯中 ，龚锦云继承了常德高腔的传统技艺 ，并结合自己 的条件有所创造 ，特别是在演唱中创造了共鸣的边音 ，成功地塑造出各具特色的人物形象。 代表作品有《帅印重归天波府》等。
