男 ，汉族 ，1940年生 ，江西九江人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目昆曲代表性传承人， 一级演员。刘异龙曾学过生、 净等行当 ，后专工丑行 ，青年时代得昆丑泰斗华传浩、 王传淞 、周传沧的真传 ，并与梅兰芳、俞振飞、 言慧珠等京昆著名表演艺术家配戏 ，完好地继承了 昆曲 “传”字辈艺人的表演精髓 ，独创了昆丑的川白、 粤白、 武汉白等念白 ，有 “ 昆坛清丑 ” “ 昆剧第一丑”之美称。代表作品有：《下山》《活捉》《十五贯》等。
