男 ，汉族 ，1936年生 ，浙江永嘉人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目昆曲代表性传承人， 国家一级作曲。林天文在永嘉昆剧团专职 “正吹”兼作曲 ，曾师承陈达辉、徐剑鸣等名师。 在半个多世纪的昆曲艺术生涯中 ，林天文在浙江温州昆剧团长期从事昆曲乐队演奏 ，1987年 退休后整理永嘉昆曲。他整理过的《白罗衫》《东窗记》《琵琶记》《荆钗记》等 ，均脍炙 人口 ，为温州永嘉昆曲的重新恢复、发展和弘扬做出了重要的努力 ，特别是他参与整理并编 曲的永嘉昆曲《张协状元》在海内外备受赞誉。
