女 ，汉族 ，1963年生 ，江苏苏州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目昆曲代表性传承人， 一级演员 ，中国戏剧二度梅花奖获得者。 王芳是江苏省苏州市昆剧团 “弘”字辈传人 ，先后 师承 “传”字辈名家沈传芷、姚传芗、 张传芳 ，以及 “继”字辈名家张继青 ，专工昆曲正旦 、 刀马旦 ，并兼演苏剧。 王芳的表演细腻清丽、气质纯净 ，唱腔委婉、格调高雅 ，代表作品 有《寻梦》《长生殿》等。
