男 ，彝族 ，1953年生 ，云南文山人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目彝族葫芦笙舞代表性 传承人。杨应金自幼跟随父亲学习彝族葫芦笙的演奏和葫芦笙舞。 除演奏葫芦笙舞曲外 ，他 还会演奏二胡、 弦子、笛子、箫、 唢呐等乐器 ，是当地著名的民间歌舞艺人。他带领村民多 次在州、 县组织的各种大型文艺活动上跳葫芦笙舞。
