男 ，苗族 ，1936年生 ，贵州台江人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目苗族古歌代表性传承 人。刘永洪自少年起随母学艺 ，在社会生活实践和与其他歌师的相互学习中逐渐汲取了苗族 古歌的精华 ，至18岁时已掌握了大量的歌谣 ，30岁就熟练掌握了苗族创世史诗（共12部古 歌）及劳动生活歌、 开亲歌、爱情叙事诗 “仰欧瑟歌” “ 曲艺嘎百福情歌”等。刘永洪的唱 腔深邃低回 ，古风盎然。他在歌场上的精彩对答颇得乡人好评。 多年来 ，刘永洪在大小酒宴 上对歌、在茶余饭后说唱交流数千场次 ，他的《开天辟地》《打梁造柱》《酿酒歌》《枫木 歌》等歌谣多次在当地的姊妹节、龙舟节等节庆活动上交流传唱 ，对苗族文化的传承起到了 积极的推动作用。 2004年 ，刘永洪被贵州省民间文艺家协会、 台江县文化局、 台江县文化保 护办公室授予 “古歌歌师”称号。
