男 ，土家族 ，1933年生 ，湖南湘西土家族苗族自治州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目 湘西土家族毛古斯舞代表性传承人。 彭英威6岁便跟随爷爷彭继尧、 父亲彭南贵跳毛古斯舞， 他对毛古斯舞的一整套演出程序了如指掌。 1997年 ，在全县 “舍巴日”（土家族祭祀族祖的 仪式）活动中担任粗犷豪放、 刚劲激昂的毛古斯舞的领演。 彭英威有 “永顺县土家族毛古斯 的掌门人”之称。
