女 ，苗族 ，1949年生 ，湖南湘西人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目湘西苗族鼓舞代表性 传承人。石顺民自幼受其母龙帕英（已故）影响 ，学会跳苗族鼓舞。她跳的苗族鼓舞动作丰 富 ，舞姿优美 ，节奏感强 ，技巧难度大 ，极具观赏性 ，形成了自己独特风格。从20世纪80年 代开始传授苗族鼓舞 ，2004年 ，她自己筹资开办了湘西第一个苗族鼓舞培训中心——顺民苗 族鼓舞培训班 ，对农村学员实行免费培训。代表作品有：《庆丰收》《迎宾鼓》《团圆鼓》 等。
