男 ，土家族 ，1947年生 ，湖北长阳土家族自治县人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目土家 族撒叶儿嗬代表性传承人。 张言科13岁开始学跳撒叶儿嗬 ，师祖是覃自传 ，师傅有田一彦、 张言楷、 张言美等。他全面掌握本地 “撒叶儿嗬”的各种套路和表演技能 ，尤其打鼓和领唱 更是出类拔萃 ，被当地群众称为 “金鼓手”。他常年活跃在基层 ，有较大的社会影响力。他 已培养出向道洲、 田春亭、 陈再军等众多 “撒叶儿嗬”艺人。
